Jabun Nahar is an accomplished entrepreneur and educationist with over fifteen years of experience in business leadership, institutional development, and strategic planning. She is the Partner and Director of The New School Dhaka, a leading PG 12 English medium institution in Bangladesh known for its innovative and inclusive approach to education. Under her leadership,the school has grown significantly in terms of enrollment, academic achievement, and community engagement. In addition to her contributions to the field of education, Jabun Nahar is also a Partner at IT Care,a forward-looking company engaged in technology, and digital solutions. Her dual roles in education and technology reflect her commitment to bridging traditional teaching methods with modern digital tools to foster future-ready learners and institutions.
Jabun Nahar completed her secondary and higher secondary education in the science stream from Cumilla. She passed SSC (1993) from Our Lady of Fatima Girls’ High School, Cumilla, and HSC (1995) from Comilla Victoria Government College. She later earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Asia Pacific in 2005.

In 2025, Jabun Nahar represented Bangladesh on the global education stage as a distinguished nominee and speaker at the COA x World School Summit 2025, held at the House of Lords and Oxford University, London (27 June 2025). As a guest speaker, she delivered an inspiring address titled “Leading with Heart: My Story from Bangladesh,” where she shared her journey as a school leader and mother. Her speech emphasized empathy, resilience, and purpose-driven leadership in education, earning recognition from international educators and leaders. Her participation highlighted Bangladesh’s presence in global education leadership and showcased her commitment to transformative and values-based schooling.
