About
NSD
NSD was founded by four reputed English medium teachers and a philanthropist in 2007 and it started its operation in its Banani Campus in the academic year 2008-2009.
It is one of the few schools in Bangladesh that started offering Play Group to Grade XII since the day of its inception. NSD is a forward looking co-ed school offering International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) & International Advanced Level (IAL) qualifications under Edexcel, UK, of which it is a registered centre (No. 93108). It is also registered with Ministry of Education, People’s Republic of Bangladesh through Dhaka Education Board (No.70/English/7399).

ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES
What NSD
Offers Academically.
Courses taught at NSD lead to IGCSE, and IAL Examinations offered by Edexcel, London . Students will sit IGCSE in Class X and A Level in Class XII.
Language, mathematics and science are considered to be the core subjects at NSD. IT is kept compulsory from Class I onwards so that children can cope and compete in this age of information.
To ensure a sound knowledge of national culture and heritage, NSD teaches Bangla from Nursey and Bangladesh Studies from KG onwards as compulsory subjects.
